Update

We're holding onto the last few days of summer.
The weather is perfect for eating up every last bit of summer goodness.
In just a little more than a week Jane starts school.

We've been so so busy this summer.
And by we, I really mean Jane.
The rest of us are busy by association.

Let's see, there was science camp, swim lessons, soccer camp, kidfest, princess ballet camp, and vacation bible school.  Oh yes, and she just started cheerleading.

Yes, it's been busy.
Molly, oh poor Molly, wanted to do it all too.
She was old enough to take swim lessons and do ballet though.
She was happy to participate in anything.

We went on our annual summer kick off camping trip.
And for once it didn't rain!
Promised Land is a beautiful state park.
The lake was fun, and the girls enjoyed swimming and playing in the sand.

I relived my childhood when we took all the kids to Dutch Wonderland and had the very best day.
The girls had so much fun on the rides.
I'm already planning our return trip next summer.

Around home, the girls are really enjoying riding their bikes and scooters.
Molly learned how to drive the jeep so she's always riding that around now.
Molly is a popsicle addict.
But she also loves to eat veggies right from our garden.

The girls have gotten a lot more comfortable in the pool.
Jane has started putting her face in the water and jumping in.
We've been practicing taking her swimmy off and letting her swim.
Molly, too, has been jumping in.
Owen isn't a fan of cold water, but who can blame him!

Everyone has grown so much over these past couple months.
The girls are both looking older to me.
And they both have definitely grown taller!
Their faces are changing, Jane's looking older, Molly's thinning out.
Owen is crawling and standing and cruising everywhere.
He's happy tagging along most of the time.
But just recently he's been really trying to get me to let him down.
That turns into a stick and leaf eating mess.
He is such a sweetheart and he's my little lovey.
I never want him to grow up.
