Molly is FOUR!!

Four.
It's when toddlerhood is officially a thing of the past.
Though she's taken on the role of little girl long before today.
Every few months I'm just in awe.
I feel like all of a sudden I am looking at her differently.
I say to Brian,
"She's really....(doing this now, or doing that...)"
I just really feel like she's growing up too quickly.

She's a piece of work, I'll tell ya.
Keeps me on my toes every minute of the day.
She's so curious and has little inhibitions.
You can imagine how that goes.
But she has such a big heart.
It's her best quality.
She cares about others and if they are crying or hurt
she's the first one to go over and rub their back and tell them
"it's okay, honey".

We decided it was time to let Molly have her own birthday party with friends.
I was thinking a very modest party.
She insisted we invite her whole class.
She was so happy with the idea of everyone being invited,
and constantly would ask if so and so was coming.

She had her party planned looooong before today.
She insisted on a DocMcStuffin party.
I offered up many other suggestions.
But nope, she had her mind set.
With a piƱata and a vanilla cake.
And that's what my little Molly got.

She has been just in love with the pool this summer
so as soon as we got cleaned up from the party,
before she could ask for the 100th time,
we let them finally go swimming.
It was the perfect way to end the afternoon of her 4th birthday.
